We were approached by one of the PGA Tour events to build a custom shopping spree for their major Pro-Am. They had run out of ideas for the main gift for participants, which meant that many flew in for the event and didn’t want to haul merchandise back with them. They had a budget of $500 per player and wanted an impressive offering.


We worked closely to develop the new product selection, which became a mix of name-brand retail merchandise that included sunglasses, electronics, jewelry, luggage, barbecues, bikes and golf clubs. We also built a name-brand logo apparel section with high-end golf brands such as Travis Matthew, Callaway, Ping and Nike. We set up at registration with samples and explained the program. Each participant received a branded leather wallet with a custom-branded gift card for the event’s custom store. We also posted the results of the tournament on the front page of the store.


The event and store received high praise from participants. The tournament staff was very pleased with the ease of execution. We handled all customer service questions, and their staff received reports. The mix of products ordered was significant. The tournament recommended us to other Pro-Ams. We have done several more events, all with great feedback.
