SALES & MARKETING PROGRAM
An aerospace leader came to iCoStore to build a program to empower their remote sales team to order logo merchandise for their customers. The previous vendor hosted an inventory program and offered fewer than 20 items, with very little apparel. New merchandise was scarce, so the sales team started purchasing items from outside vendors. Branding was irregular and costs were high.
We started by sending a survey to their sales team, asking what items they would like to see in the store. The merchandise consisted of Just-in-Time apparel and Bulk Buy promotional items, which are produced when ordered and drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. This allowed us to offer the customer a large selection of promotional items and apparel without inventory. For companies that purchase items in bulk, this scenario works great.
This program has been running for almost a decade and continues to grow. An annual survey is sent to the sales team requesting feedback on new items and how we can improve their experience. Points are added to their online store accounts quarterly by their internal administrator.
Using the iCoStore points manager along with offering Bulk Buy and JIT decoration, we were able to offer the right selection of merchandise with the features they needed to oversee the program and eliminate rogue spending.
